Loading and unloading arms
The movement of the arms is smooth and progressive thanks to their regulation by means of a position and speed control system by sections managed by inclinometer, frequency variator and hydraulic unit. The arms have integrated retractable supports at their base that allow glass to be unloaded from the table onto a gripper or other handling element.
Maximum load capacity: 900kg (1984,16 lb).
Cutting head
The cutting head is made up of two tools: the upper and the lower tool. Both are equipped with a special cylinder with very low friction and they are also off-centred with the vertical axis allowing it to auto-align with the cut. It is build to mechanically absorb the unevenness of the glass. The pressure applied is adjusted proportionally to the thickness of the glass by a PID system. The movement of the cutting wheel is enhanced by a continuous lubrication. All this is part of the “TUROMAS Open Cut System,” that stands out for the high cutting quality and for rendering glass pieces that end up practically open, guaranteeing an easy break-out.
Cutting bridge
All the components of the cutting bridge, from the guides to the rollers, have been designed and oversized specifically to provide great robustness and rigidity, bearing the accelerations and inertias resulting from the movement and eliminating any vibrations, which results in an increased life-cycle of the machine and a great cutting quality over time. The upper and lower tool guides have been positioned parallel to each other to the nearest hundredth of a cent for cutting accuracy, smoother movement, reduced noise and increased durability.
Break-out and separation system
The break-out is a key point to achieve the highest quality in laminated glass cutting. TUROMAS uses sensors to control and ensure the ideal stroke and pressure of the cutting tools for each glass thickness.
The bottom glass break out is a nylon wheel that descends and moves along the glass to carefully perform the first operation. The PVB is then heated by a specific infrared lamp which prevents the glass from heating up in order to preserve its quality.
The upper glass is cut and, at the same time, the two sides of the glass are separated by means of the traction exerted by two sets of independent suction cups allowing the lowering of a blade that cuts the PVB.
In short, performing the cutting, heating and separating processes simultaneously reduces the cutting cycle by 10 seconds.
Remote Assitance
Remote technical assistance system based on a set of software and hardware tools that allows authorized staff of the Turomas Technical Service to manage maintenance or assistance tasks anywhere in the world quickly and efficiently. Access via the Internet is always done with the prior consent of the customer.
Optimizer software
TUROMAS cutting tables include a powerful software on the control panel as standard for creating and managing optimizations.
Interfaz
