Presentation of the distribution company and the relationship with TUROMAS

Although the relationship began over 20 years ago, TECNICGLASS started its activity as official TUROMAS distributor for the Catalonia, Balearic Islands and Principality of Andorra market on 1 July 2016, following the corporate restructuring and the generational change of Álvaro Tomás.

In the autumn of 2017, we expanded our product range with the Adelio Lattuada edging machines, which are as complementary as they are essential in a glassworks with first-rate cutting tables. From TUROMAS, of course!

At the end of 2018, we added cutting-edge solutions in tempering furnaces, laminating furnaces, digital printers… from the Italian company Keraglass. Top-level equipment that is perfectly complementary to the already available products.

We can say that we are now a very strong group at a commercial level. We have a full range of technical solutions of the level that a TUROMAS customer demands in the glass processing sector.

What can your company offer to TUROMAS customers?

First of all, the accumulated experience of the entire team over these 20 years. A background that enables us to offer distribution, production and, of course, machinery solutions for small glassworks and large processing plants.

Another group of companies in which we are also highly specialised are those engaged in installing glass and in woodwork/ironwork of all types, which are increasingly related to the glass sector. We provide them with technical support and supply them with consumables for all aspects relating to work involving said material.

TECNICGLASS currently has a staff of six employees, each one focused on the specific functions that a company of our type needs. These include a technician responsible for assembling the new machinery, repairs and technical assistance.

What is your opinion of the technical training days?

Unbeatable. At TECNICGLASS, we believe that training is one of the fundamental pillars of success. Without training, it is very difficult to provide a quality service, build customer loyalty and expand the customer base. Employees and customers are the most valuable thing that companies have.

What do you achieve with the technical certification? What benefits does the accredited training offer you?

First of all, peace of mind and trust for the customer and for the person in contact with the customer (in this case, TECNICGLAS). But, without a doubt, the one that comes out with the biggest advantage is the customer. The continuous training of the technical service and the day-to-day experience make it the visible face of the TUROMAS team which, physically or by telephone, solves problems and reinforces trust with our customers. 

The goal is ultimately to improve every day and grow together with the customers.
