TUROMAS celebrates Christmas with a very special card

There is less than a month left until Christmas begins. It is a time for lights, decorations, carols, reunions, and get-togethers with family and friends… It is also the time to send greetings with messages that express affection and best wishes.

For the first time, TUROMAS has organized a Christmas card contest in which the children, nieces and nephews, and grandchildren of all company employees, aged between two and ten, were able to take part.

Valentina Sanahuja Navarro was the winner of this first edition of the contest, and her drawing will feature on the card used to send holiday greetings to TUROMAS employees and customers around the world.

She received a diploma and a case with markers, wax crayons, and glitter glue so she can enjoy painting at home or at school. The rest of the participants received a bag of sweets.

On a blank sheet of paper, the children gave free rein to their imagination using the techniques and materials they wanted: colored pencils, crayons, some decorative stickers… Originality and creativity were valued according to each child’s age. A member from each department, with no family connection to the participants, helped choose the winning drawing with their vote.

All the works submitted will be on display at TUROMAS headquarters until the Christmas holidays come to an end.

TUROMAS joins “The Most Magical Night”

“The Most Magical Night” is a solidarity initiative by Aragón Radio that aims to ensure that the most disadvantaged children and elderly people in Aragón do not go without a gift on Epiphany night.

This year, TUROMAS wanted to join the station’s solidarity project by collecting, under its Christmas tree, the toys and gifts donated by employees who took part in this small selfless gesture.

The center run by ATADI in Mora de Rubielos also collaborates with the campaign as a collection point, and on Thursday, December 19, TUROMAS will take all the toys and gifts gathered there.

ATADI Mora de Rubielos will take the gifts to the delegation of the Aragonese Radio and Television Corporation in Teruel, and Cáritas will be the NGO in charge of distributing them among the homes or residential centers of the children and elderly people with the least resources.
