TUROMAS technologies take centre stage in Düsseldorf
Among the innovations showcased at the TUROMAS stand, the DOUBLE LAM LINE + for cutting laminated glass, featuring a double bridge and intermediate vertical discharge attracted particular attention. Designed for the production of laminated glass, this solution combines advanced automation, continuous production flow and the removal of finished pieces from the first cutting bridge.
Alongside this major innovation, whose intermediate vertical discharge system is patented by TUROMAS, visitors had the opportunity to discover other TUROMAS solutions covering different stages of glass processing:
- LR-03, an automatic glass storage and loading system
- LAB PRINT MAN, for real-time label printing.
- TUROMAS Software, TUROMAS’s software suite designed to deliver exponential productivity growth, reduce energy and labour costs, and improve cycle times.
The trade fair also provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the changing needs of the market and the challenges facing the glass industry. These discussions led to some very promising business contacts and numerous business opportunities. This positive outcome reflects the international market’s continued interest in the solutions that TUROMAS provides.
More than 1,170 exhibitors from 48 countries and visitors from 126 countries attended to discover the latest trends and innovations that are transforming the value chain of glass production and processing.

Feedback from TUROMAS management
New products presented by TUROMAS: State-of-the-art machinery
At Glasstec, TUROMAS showcased its most advanced solutions for smart storage, loading and automatic glass cutting, as well as launching the new LAM 600 series, which features a dual-bridge laminated glass cutting system. All of this was showcased through live, personalised demonstrations, offering attendees a unique, hands-on experience tailored to their specific needs.
Connected processes, from storage to cutting:
During their participation at Glasstec 2026, they presented a clear vision for the future of the industry: the seamless and comprehensive integration of storage, loading, cutting and unloading of laminated glass. At their stand, they demonstrated how smart, automated storage is no longer a separate element. It is now an active part of the production process, coordinating directly with the production line to manage the feeding and return of pieces with great precision, reduce downtime and maintain a continuous workflow.
Increased capacity for laminated glass cutting: DOUBLE LAM LINE +
TUROMAS is responding to the growing demand for laminated glass with flexible line configurations tailored to the needs of each plant. The company presented set-ups featuring a double cutting bridge for laminated glass. These are designed to boost performance and significantly increase production capacity in plants with high volumes of work.
New LAM 600 series:
One of the main highlights of the exhibition was the new LAM 600 series. It was designed to address the growing pressure on production in laminated glass processing. This is achieved by reducing cycle times and fully automating the various stages of the process. A key feature was its innovative, patented system, which integrates the heating lamp into the cutting and separating unit. Thanks to this configuration, it is possible to carry out heating, cutting and separation in a single operation. This has enabled the cutting cycle to be reduced by up to 10 seconds compared with conventional solutions. The LAM 600 series automates key tasks such as loading, positioning, cutting, rotation and unloading of the sheets. This minimises intermediate waiting times and ensures a smoother workflow. Finally, it is worth noting that the new line incorporates advanced systems for automatic rotation, narrow-strip handling and the stripping of Low-E glass. It also offers multiple traceability options and full integration with the plant’s management systems.
MSRC New solution for double-bridge line offloading:
Furthermore, during the trade fair, they addressed a problem affecting the overall productivity of laminated glass: the fact that actual cutting capacity depends not only on the cutting speed of the bridge, but also on the efficient handling of the pieces after cutting and processing.
In conventional double-bridge configurations, material removal on the first bridge is often affected by operations on the second. This creates bottlenecks and alters the order of output. At Glasstec, they presented a new system integrated into the production line: the intermediate vertical discharge system, the MSRC. This solution removes finished pieces from the first cutting bridge, ensuring a continuous and efficient production flow, thereby ensuring that removal is no longer a bottleneck in the plant but becomes a perfectly coordinated element within the entire process.
Full integration:
They demonstrated how equipment automation can be directly integrated with the software of TUROMAS. To achieve this, they integrate various digital technologies that provide real-time process information, improve traceability and seamlessly connect the different stages of production. An example of this advancement is the LAM 600 series, which features an interactive display that allows users to check the status of each optimisation, visualise the parts in real time and instantly identify the action currently being carried out, the order of the parts, the current optimisation and the next one to be executed. With this integration, they are moving towards smart facilities. In these facilities, machinery, software and data work together to achieve maximum production efficiency.
A bespoke solution for every business:
The entire proposal presented by TUROMAS at Glasstec 2026 is based on a fundamental premise: not all plants operate in the same way or have the same requirements. For this reason, they demonstrated that, by combining standard solutions with bespoke projects, whether by adapting dimensions, capacities, levels of automation or software to the specific characteristics of each facility, they could build a wide range of production line configurations, capable of adapting to each plant and its requirements. This high degree of customisation lies at the heart of their value proposition, setting them apart from the rest by not merely manufacturing machines, but by designing and building bespoke solutions.
The future of TUROMAS following Glasstec 2026
This success at Glasstec 2026 reinforces the position of TUROMAS as a global leader in technological solutions for the glass industry.
Thanks to the innovations showcased, such as the intermediate side evacuation system and the new LAM 600, and the excellent reception from visitors, the company has been able to finalise deals, establish new ones and strengthen existing relationships, as well as reaffirm its presence across five continents, with a particular focus on Europe, North Africa and the Americas, specifically the United States.
